85 PMKS Returned to West Java

Jakarta Social Department sent 85 People with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) back to their hometown in West Java. They were netted during a raid, then accommodated temporarily in social houses owned by Jakarta Provincial Government.

If they are caught coming again then they will be processed criminally

Those PMKS were departed using bus through Bina Insani 2 Social House Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta. They were asked not to get back to the city as they can be charged under article of fraud. Even the third  side who coordinates them will be charged Laws No.21/2007 on Human Trafficking.

Head of Rehabilitation Social Division for Jakarta Social Department, Chaidir stated, all PMKS returned were the result of a raid at the latest month. Except for two elderly PMKS, netted since 7 months ago and all this time guided in Werdatama Nursing House Ceger, Cipayung.

Jakarta Social Department Sent Back 163 PMKS to Their Hometown

Eventually all PMKS will be entrusted first in Bina Mandiri Hall Sub-Unit in Palimanan, Cirebon, West Java. After 7 days, then will be sent to their own home.

"Before they are discharged, they wrote a statement letter not to get back to Jakarta. If they are caught coming again then they will be processed criminally. Due to considered as fraud," said Chaidir, Thursday (7/9).

Chaidir appealed all PMKS to work hard developing their own hometown. And also improve their skills thus could be useful for others. Skill which they have would be very useful as a modal to find a job.

He added, in future PMKS target raid is not only in prone areas at the edge of road. But also, residential, particularly in complex and worship places. As all this time PMKS also roam in both points and it is really unsettling.
